I paint small metal and plastic figures and rarely get to play with them. But that is fine with me.

3rd Awr-Range Wardens (Quar Fidwogs - Part 9)

Not much time for hobby of late but I did manage to get this kitbashed Fidwog “Cook” (essentially a Medic in the rules) done. Normally one would have to purchase the Fidwog Command kit to make one of these guys but I don’t have that and had a 3D printed teapot arm and some other sundry parts and thought… yeah, I can make my own. (And if I ever get the actual kit to make a proper one, this guy can just be another rhyfler who is everyone’s pal.)

This is Nevylle. He likes to think and act as the Company Cook. He has some knowledge of battlefield dressing and goodness does he make a good cup of tea!

Crap freehand so the porcelain looks a bit fancy.

Custom backpack with some sort of lockbox and canteen from the ol’ bits box. Also two Bergen barrels full of Fidwog liquor to bring up the spirits of his fellow quarriors.

The other side of the teapot. Looks just as naff this side too 🤣

Hope all are enjoying the dying days of Summer and staying safe and well out there.

  2. Yeah, I agree Dai - I think you are being a bit hard on yourself there, mate! Nevylle looks great - and so does his teapot! (Royal Doulton with hand painted periwinkles!)

  3. Excellent work Dai, the teapot painting is awesome, and looks like a shop bought teapot, so well done mate, and who needs the official model, when yours looks so damn cool.
