RF&F

On the 27th I'll be playing a multi-player game of Regimental Fire & Fury at Stewart's place, providing the Confederate forces for the day.

According to the scenario that he's devised I'm short a regiment of infantry, so, once more to the brushes my friends!

Command base and a base (Representing roughly a company ingame) of Confederate Zouaves. In this case, they are painted up in the uniform of the Louisiana Tigers. 

Only 6 bases to go! These will also double up nicely for our Longstreet campaign.
After I painted the Zouaves, I quickly decided that one base/company was enough! They took as long to paint as 3 regular Reb' infantry bases! >_<

Also started work on a couple more Soviets - more on those will be posted soon.

    Nice. I've heard nothing but good things about Fire & Fury. I think Airborne likes to play it with his brother and Dad. I have a couple of rule sets for the period but have never played. The most recent purchase was a set designed by John Hill. I've forgotten the name already.

      Only played a couple games of RF&F thus far, but I liked how it rolled, though it did take a long time, even at the small scale we played.

      Yes ACW is one of my first wargaming loves. I prefer the Brigade Level Fire and Fury over Regt. But they are both great rulesets! Excellent work on the Tigers. I actually have them painted for my army of the Valley. Will we see a battle report?

    Very nice as always, looking forward to seeing what you make of RF&F. Despite its prevelence, i have never actually played it.

    Why the Louisiana focus, if you don't mind me asking? I recall/guess Pedisclaux is a Creole. Spotting a theme here!

      Thanks Ed. I'll be sure to post up on the game after the weekend.

      I dunno to be honest. Nothing all that historical as far as accuracy really - just don't see too many games with troops used aside from the typical Virginians and Texans for the rebs, so went with the Louisiana lot.
